In 2007 I worked on the huge project Al Khaliji bank, it was about to create from scratch a whole new identity for a brand along hundred branches in Qatar. To develop the logo we used the metaphor of an eagle facing the sun in the desert. I spent six months working on the entire brand manual for this bank in both languages, English and Arabic. Their slogan was “Next generation bank” and client wanted to make a brand which was: bold, cool, reliable, united and swift. It was such a challenge to do because we wanted to create a cool brand for a bank in Middle East, something very fresh, colorful and young.
